The slant is adjustable at the top where the shoes sit. When the top is flat, the height from top to bottom is a little over 15 1/2”. It has age appropriate wear and scratches, etc…. The top and bottom screw together, and to reduce the box size for shipping, it will be taken apart, and will have to be put back together, which is easy to do.
