Description: This an antique Corticelli thread/spool cabinet. Made of walnut, it has 7 glass front drawers with brass pulls, and 3 wood front drawers with porcelain pull knobs. The cabinet was modified by a previous store owner to lock with a bar. The bar is no longer with us, but the eyelets for its use still “grace” the cabinet. The right bottom trim is missing…again, looks like a purposeful modification. The bottom glass drawer is missing the brass pull and the 2 brass pieces used to hold the glass in place, one on either end of drawer. 2 other glass drawers are missing one of the two brass pieces. The interiors of some of the glass front drawers have been altered…again, appear intentional. I’ve tried to picture them. Included are more than 80 wooden spools of various manufacturers. There are also spools with thread on them, and other assorted thread items. It measures 23” H x 23” W x 17” D. Its weight is approximately 65#.
