Description: Offered is a lovely floral decorated chocolate pot set featuring Lilac Sprays on the pot, hand decorated floral garland, and generous amounts of gilt trim. The set is unmarked, which leaves me to believe it may have been produced before the import trademark laws changed in early 1883. The porcelain is translucent. ** Please note, while all pieces are in very good condition, no chips, cracks, or crazing, I believe it is a mismatched set. While similar, the pot and cups and saucers don't quite look alike! Also, as you can see, there are just two cups with five saucers. White spots or streaks are glare from the overhead light. The pot is 9.5" tall with lid. Saucers are 5.25" across the cups are 3.5" tall. I purchased this at an upscale estate auction. The woman had dozens and dozens of chocolate pots and chocolate sets. Please see all photos to judge the condition for yourself and ask if you have any questions. Because of the fragile nature of this set, I can not combine ship it with another listing unless it is a very small item.
