Description: A beautiful rare one piece antique Chinoiserie Secretary Desk in Georgian Style. The Asian design is carved raised wood and painted. Its overallcolor is a deep green with shadings of teal and black. Hand Painted and crafted. 3 panels of design to each side. Pull outs for drop down desk. Desk has locking original key! Top Secretary (all one piece) has glassed doors and inside two shelves.One outer drawer. Inside drop down surface painted teal with gold stripe. 1 inside drawer with letter slots. This is an antique and there is loss of paint which gives it patina. Two of the legs have some loss of wood on top of leg.The frontdraw pulls are different.Please see all of the pictures as they are part of the description. Any imperfections I have done my best to show.This piece came from high end estate in Connecticut. I do not know more. It also has a brass plaque on back, A-1178. (plus cobwebs). It has gorgeous presence. Living Room for stand out piece.
