The embroidery on this is very well done. The main flowers are done in Peking (forbidden) stitch and the others in a satin stitch. The lining is a beige silk that has staining. There is a mirror inside that has tarnished. There is also a side pocket sewn in. The metal purse frame has a curious design on it. In the middle it looks like a Chinese building but surrounding it are camels and men what appears to be Chinese clothing wielding flags. About 6 1/2 by 5 inches.
