This painting of a magnificent Manchu man is dressed in an imperial semiformal court official mandarin square rank badge robe with horse hoof cuffs, a cloud collar, wrap around skirt, Qing guanmao hat with peacock feather on the back and pearl necklace. The frame measures 7 by 5 inches and the painted man is 3 inches tall. It is in excellent condition. This is truly a rare and exceptional piece of antique Chinese hand painted art!
