ANTIQUE CHINESE BAMBOO BRUSH POT DEEP CARVED & LID TEA CADDY CIRCA 1890 Better than a lot of Chinese brush pots / tea caddies of this type, with a deep carved scene as seen in the photos with Chinese figures and detailed carved features on the faces. The subject is scholars examining scrolls in a forest setting. Unusual to have a lid as a lot do not, although the lid has had restoration but is strong. The pot itself is good condition with a little restoration. But overall a period piece of Chinese carved bamboo work that looks very nice. Measuring approx 6 inches high to the lid top not including the finial / handle x approx 4 1/4 inches wide. ........all as per the images. ........all as per the images.
