Description: Absolutely gorgeous cabinet....not sure if this is cherry or mohogany or other...various woods here....tiger veneer on the large medallions on each side of glass, different designs and inlays on the drawer, more raised designs on crown top as well as under drawer, as well as on drawer....lots and lots of detail and extras on this beautiful piece. Outstanding tiger wood throughout pieceSee all pictures. Also still has its Company Emblem plate circle inside drawer-see pic. It states "Showers Furniture with the date 1868. I do not know if this piece in particular is from that exact date, could be and that's why this circle plate is placed on the piece inside drawer side.Fully funtional, door easily opens and still has original glass and design on glass.Not sure if some call this art deco on it? drawer opens and is deep and big..perfect for table linens...which is how its used right now. Approximate measurements are:5' 8" tall3'6" wide at widest pointdrawer is 3'3" x 1'3" deep by 8" tallUpper cabinet 3' x 1'2" deep and 2'9" tall with 2 shelves and also bottom shelf giving 3 actual shelves for treasured items. :) Beautiful condition-still has its original glass, veneer inset, medallions,hardware, tongue & groove large linen drawer, no peeling or stains, original finish.
