Description: Small Coin Bank, Antique 1900s Home Decor, Old Cast Iron AC Williams Bank, Handmade Cast Iron Figurine, Victorian Domed Bank Building, Architecture Model Figurine, Antique Penny Bank. This is an all original cast iron coin bank of a tall domed building. It is 7 stories high plus the domed roof structure. The coin slot is on both sides under the word BANK. It is mostly silver in color, with some remnants of a gold color on the roof structure. They were popular items on offices and houses just after the turn of the XIX century, and were very durable of course. It is in good vintage condition as shown. The gold and silver paintings are lost almost completely and the metal is starting to have a thin layer of oxidation. The surfaces are smooth without any rough or unfinished surfaces, especially in the window cut outs. It has the "feel" we are used to seeing in antique original cast iron objects of any type. This would open by the flat head screw on one side; the opposite side is a smooth circle. This has not been repainted or repaired and has no cracks. It would have been produced in the early part of the 20th century. It is not marked but this style was made by A.C. Williams. The company started metal casting in Ohio in 1844. Dimensions 3" tall X 2" across 1" wide. A treasure to add to any collection whether it be banks, toys, or cast it is a rare addition.
