Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE Antique c1930’s German Westminster & Whittington Chiming Mantel Clock (Serviced) This is an antique c1930's German Westminster & Whittington chiming mantel clock with silence. This is in fantastic condition and is in full working order. It has a beautiful domed oak body with decorative Art Deco inlay to the front. The oak case has a dark brown coloured finish with a darker visible grain and a soft subtle shine. The face is circular in shape with a silver coloured metal chapter ring, black coloured numerals and silver coloured hands. Above the number twelve is the chime/silence selector lever (fully functional). The face is protected by a circular convex glass door with a chromed metal bezel. There are two 10mm scuffs to the glass. To the rear is the door to the mechanism chamber. The door is intact in excellent condition. This chimes at quarter past the hour, half past the hour, quarter to the hour and on the hour. On the hour it also chimes the number of hours. This comes complete with its pendulum and key. The clock was cleaned and services on the 6th December 2024.
