Description: This post card, or trade card, features a pastel illustration of four pretty Victorian girls playing instruments on the front with the caption, "Prospective Purchasers of Estey Pianos". On the back is a lithograph of the Factory of Estey Piano Company of New York built in 1886 and still located at the northeast corner of Lincoln Avenue and Southern (now Bruckner) Boulevard in the Bronx. The post card was likely printed about 1890 when cards were popular to both collect and advertise a business. This card is in delicate condition. It has some creases on the top right and both bottom corners, and along the ridge side. There is some wear along the edges, and a tear from the bottom to halfway up the card (see photos). The images are still clear and have nice color. Put in a frame to preserve it, this card should last for many more years. The card is 3-5/8" tall and 5-7/8" wide. From a smoke free home and stored in a pet free room.
