Description: This traditional antique temple toy bronze horse probably a depiction of the sacred Indian Merwari horse. It is adorned with a saddle blanket and chest chain, the is artfully braided mane. It stands on four wheels with geometric decorations on the harnesses and the wheels. It is hand forged bronze and in a good state of preservation considering its traditional casting, with no obvious signs of age or use. The horse weighs 385 grams or 13 oz and stands 10 cm or 4 inches high, 9 cm long. The statue's provenance can be traced back to the First half 19th century from India. (300) .
