Description: The lamp base is approximately 15 1/2" high and stands 20" with the glass shade. I tested the metal with a magnet. The only place the magnet stuck is on the part with the turn knob. This may be caused by the light bulb holder. The plug, see through electric cord and base felt appear to be original ***One of the, three, screws that holds the shade in place is missing.
