Description: Very nice antique beaded Iroquois 5-pointed star shaped pincushion with an unusual rabbit design in great all original patina & condition. This is a very nice example, the pincushion is in excellent condition and the beads are all present. The pincushion is quite solid or firm to the touch. There are clusters of dangles on 4 of the 5 star points. I don't think there were ever any on the top point. The colors are very nice with a good patina. The bask has the original red fabric. I think this is a bit unusual in that the central design is a rabbit, usually you see a bird, flowers or a flag. This is a very nice piece of Americana, you will not be disappointed.
