Description: Antique Barber Chair Child’s Booster Seat, NICE!. This chair is all original and has never been restored or modified in any way. It’s a rather elaborate design with a wrap-around tubular safety arm and back rest. Manufactured by Yale Manufacturing Company, Inc., Boston Massachusetts. Has original tag on the bottom of the seat. The vinyl seat covering is original to the early 1950s. There is minor surface rust on the chrome plating which will easily come off with some fine steel wool. Normally I would take the time to clean it up a bit but I wanted to get it up and running on eBay before the upcoming holiday weekend. The chrome tube has mounting flanges and has been disconnected from the seat bottom. It will probably need some oversize wood screws to reattach it. The heavy rubber coverings on the “candy canes” is in excellent condition. This is the only one of its kind especially in this condition. Thanks for looking!
