Description: This bag measures 3.5" x 4" and came to us from an auction in Montana. Green, blue, and gold tones zigzag across a burgundy backdrop on the exterior while a busy green and yellow print covers the interior. The Banjara, a reference to nomadic tribes residing in India, were credited with creating the piece. However, we believe there is an argument to be made that the piece could have been produced by a group in Afghanistan. Please note that we do not import or export ancient items. Additionally, our items typically come from people and businesses that we know and trust. We tend to avoid buying from unknown sources or individuals because we cannot guarantee that they have obtained their inventory through legitimate means. Our listings are researched prior to posting and our descriptions are informed by our own knowledge and experience as well as by the vendors from which we obtain our inventory. Thus, our titles and descriptions are our opinions as to the nature and history of the object for sale. Even so, we welcome discussions and questions PRIOR to purchase.
