The shawl was woven in an intricate chevron design with a classic art deco style. The edges are woven in a tight sturdy pattern that then turns to fringe along the entire border. This shawl is in great antique condition. There are no signs of shredding in the silk or any holes. The fringe is a bit frayed and has some debris tangled in it.
