Description: 19th century solid silver toothpick holder. Hedgehog standing on an unusually decorative base. 3” x 1-5/8” x 1-3/4” high. There are 2 Austrian hallmarks on the top of the base. They are under the hedgehog, so I wasn't able to photograph them very clearly. I wasn’t able to identify the maker. The marks can be seen in the last 2 photos. The back end of the hedgehog is dented. In Photo 8, you can see it on the left side of his rear. He is also slightly dented on the left side of his body, but it’s hard to see in the photos. The best view is in Photo 11. On the underside of the base, there’s a small crack that looks like it happened during manufacture when it was being attached to the hedgehog. See Photo 15. There’s also a tiny crack on the bottom of one of the edges. See Photo 16: On the lower edge, near the left corner. Smoke free and fragrance free. Shipping includes Signature Confirmation and Insurance. I’m happy to answer any questions.
