Description: STUNNING Ault pottery Arts & Crafts vase!!!! This 8-1/4" tall yellow vase seems to glow, it's so beautiful! It is in amazing antique condition. It does have crazing throughout, but no chips or cracks. There were a couple of nicks to the bottom of the vase prior to it being fired, but I do not count those, since they were there when the vase was being finished in the 19th century (it dates from 1889 - 1891, before Ault used the word "England" on their pieces. This vase is marked simply "AULT" and has an "8" on the bottom). The vase depicts a bird, which I think is a Swallow, about to alight on a branch with leaves and flowers. It has some dots of paint here and there that are underneath the glaze, so again, those were part of the creation of the vase. Please take a look at ALL of the photos for condition details and feel free to ask questions or request additional photos. Check out my other listings, too, as I'm happy to combine shipping whenever it's safe & possible to do so. Thanks!
