Description: Antique Arts & Crafts Mission Wooden Wastepaper Receptacle with Copper Band Click images to enlarge Description Here is an antique Arts & Crafts or Mission style octagonal sectional wooden wastepaper receptacle. It measures about 9-1/2" diameter x 14" high. Each section or stave is about 3/16" thick and has a rounded top as shown. There is a 1/2" wide copper band with flat head tacks that hold the top in place. The bottom is a thicker single piece of wood and the bottom of each piece is nailed in place. Condition is pre-owned. A few copper tacks or nails are missing from the copper banding. There is some surface chipping of the wood mostly at the bottom edge from use. Please see all photos. Unpacked weight is 3 lb. 2 oz.
