Description: This is a genuine Arts-And-Crafts desk lamp made by Handel in bronze with shade of slag glass and bronze dating c. 1915-1920. Beautiful lyre centered in the grid on the shade and the glass is fully intact and original. Original patina. The arm has a beautiful almost Art Nouveau design flowing into the base. The lamp is substantial and looks fantastic. Works properly. Handel was one of the leading Arts and Crafts lamp makers with prices more affordable than Tiffany yet of very high quality. The caramel glass looks fantastic. Retails for about $2000.
