Description: Description: 8-18-14-14Antique Art Nouveau Slag Glass Panel & Metal Small Boudoir / dresser / nightstand Lamp. Spelter*** metal cast lamp with a caramel slag stained glass shade with a duck on one side. Measures approx: 15" tall with shade 6.5" square across the lower edge of the shade. The shade itself is 7. 25" high and 6.5” square at the base wide. I do not think that the shade is original to the piece. The shade was made specifically to fit this lamp because how it attaches to the finial Excellent working condition. Cast Spelter*** metal base -no cracks or chips. The slag glass shade is in great condition one panel has a crack see picture # 8 "SPELTER" A GRAYISH ZINC ALLOY THAT IN ITS NATURAL STATE RESEMBLES PEWTER BUT IS OFTEN PAINTED OR GIVEN A BRONZE PATINA. USED FROM THE 1860'S TO MID-19th Century. I DO MY BEST TO DESCRIBE EVERY LISTING BUT I AM NOT AN EXPERT AND ITEMS ARE SOLD “AS IS”.
