Description: On offer for you is this exceptional antique engagement ring from the Art Deco period.Modelled in solid 18ct yellow gold with a platinum face, this ring boasts three ruby gemstones surrounded by diamonds in a daisy cluster setting.The rubies are of fantastic colour, all well-matched in a deep red with pink undertones. The larger central ruby is a rectangular emerald cut, flanked to either side by two smaller rubies which are more cushion cut in shape. Four very white and fiery old cut diamonds of approximately G-H in colour sit in a scalloped platinum setting, giving the 9mm ring face a daisy shape. The ring face is slightly raised and set in a basket-style setting, with detailed scalloped gold work to the undercarriage. The shoulders of the ring start off in fine slopes, gradually tapering into a wider domed ring band.The ring is very beautifully made, with a stunningly detailed view from both the top and the side.
