Description: This ladle by Teunis Denyse Dubois captures all that is elegant and graceful about Federal silver. This is a great example of the high quality of work that Teunis produced. The ladle has the typical wear consistent with what you’ll see for old coin, without any cracks present and has an unmolested patina. I imagine that it would have once had a monogram, but it must have been removed fairly long ago since the surface of the cartouche has an aged patina that is fairly even with the rest of the piece. It measures about 14 inches long 3.75 inches long, and weighs 5.27 troy ounces. The ladle is useable too but l'd be especially careful with this one -it is a treasure.
