Description: This is an antique hand carved African zoomorphic wooden four legged small low slung stool or headrest which was tribally crafted from a single piece of wood and resembles a figurative animal which was collected from the Ivory Coast in Africa. This rare African headrest measures 21.25 inches long by 6.50 inches wide and stands 4 inches tall at the low middle of the seat and the tail is 5.50 inches from the ground. This piece weighs 3 pounds and 12 ounces. Great tribally used antique rustic condition with patina, a tribal repair, some very minor damage to the wood and one leg being a little shorter than the others but the stool still stands nicely.
