Description: Gorgeous and rare Antique set of ingredient holders.Included in this set are Coffee Tea Sugar Rice Canisters / Crocks They are made of Ceramic / Clay / Stoneware.While they are not marked, they are very similar to those typically sold by the Hull Pottery Company in the 1920s. They feature Flying Bluebirds, and this round design is more rare than the other square design.Modern look in a vintage design. Several cracks and other imperfections. Lids are interchangeable. I have been unable to find other round crocks of this type, however the bluebird design and font are both identical to those found on many Hull crocks which are square in shape and also do not have marks on the bottom. Tea Crock has many cracks. One is large and two are small. Also some crazing on exterior. Sugar crock has a large chip inside the rim and some discoloration inside the crock from where liquids have seeped in. Coffee Crock has two large cracks which extend most of the way from the top to the bottom of the crock. Large chip on the bottom which may have been made in the manufacturing process. Lid 1: Large chip, mostly on underside. Also visible from top.Lid 2: Large crack all the way across this lid which has been repaired.Lid 3: Repaired crack extends all the way across with fracture into several pieces / chipping on one side. Lid 4: Crazing on top but no cracks or chips. This is the lid in best condition. Because of the rarity of these items and the extensiveness of the set, I have included all items in this listing. It should be noted that the rice canister and one lid are both intact and in good / very good condition. Thus, if perfect condition is needed, you could think of the set as primarily consisting of this one, very rare item. But, being a collector myself, I suspect that someone will want all of these items even in their current condition. If you only want the one crock in good condition, please be in touch before purchasing and I can ship only that one and refund the remainder of the shipping paid if I only ship the one.
