Description: For sale is a superb scenic coffee pot with its lid made by Royal Vienna in about 1816 so quite early. It is hand painted with two nice landscape scenes in black including buildings, trees and even some people with small black flowers scattered about and a bit of puce trim to the top edge, spout and handle. The lid has a black scene to it as well, a couple of small flowers, same puce trim and a colorful pear finial with its leaves. The pot is in great condition without any real flaws. The piece is about 8.5 inches tall including the lid, 5.5 inches from handle to spout end and about 4.5 inches in diameter. The bottom is marked with the under glaze beehive as well as an impressed 54 (I believe) and 816 for the date code.
