Description: This listing is for a gorgeous antique Scottish grandfather/ long case clock. This piece was made in Lanark (Scotland) during the first half of the 19th century. The case is quite gorgeous. The hood has a nice flowing design with curved features. The mid section has nice flamed mahogany detailing. The casing is complimented by a hand painted dial with gorgeous scenery. The movement is an 8 day time and (bell) strike with a visible second hand. The movement was last serviced in 2019. It ran when recently tested. Please note that any type of mechanical clock that is moved or shipped might require adjustments upon arrival, thus time accuracy/running cannot be guaranteed The clock appears to be in overall good condition physically. There are some signs of normal wear and age. There is a piece of trim on the right hand side of the hood that does not match and appears to have been a replacement. No door key, but the case is unlocked. Mid section door opens and closes without issue. 19.5 x 9.25 x 87.5 inches Note: this listing is for local pickup only.
