Description: Antique Georgian or early Victorian brooch. Body is gold filled with a thin layer of applied 10k or 12k yellow gold and white gold, possibly sterling silver if not white gold. Center is adorned with a large paste stone. Dimensions: Length 1 7/16" x Width 1 1/16" x Depth 1/8". Pin Length 1 3/8". Chain Length 3".Weight: 6.7 grams.Condition: Good vintage condition. Age related oxidation and discoloration to gold filled body and chain. Some of the circular ends have imperfections in their shape. Top layer of gold has been examined and acid-tested positive for 10k gold, possibly 12k.
