Both sides have a black panel , one side hand painted floral scenery nicely referring to and emphasizing the Japanese inspiration.Very elegant and a bit exotic, this magazine rack has an irresistible charm due to its design and the choice of material. The tortoiseshell or Tiger bamboo which was used has a great color and speckled appearance, which was mostly used in high-end English furniture from the late 19th century. This original piece nicely complements your interior. It is in a nicely aged, vintage yet good condition. Measures 17'' lenght , 18'' height and 7'' long Good Antique condition , naturally age related wears , small accident to bottom right corner .
