Antique 19C After J M W Turner Venetian Adiatic Sea O/C Painting

Description & Condition: Up for sale is this antique 19C oil on canvas laid on cardboard painting titled "The Marriage of the Adriatic" after the United Kingdoms most famous artist JMW Turner. It is not signed that I can see and was most likely done by a student or very close follower. It depicts a misty day with a ship along the edge of the sea and large beautifully painted buildings with columns. It is in good condition and measures 30" by 25" and is in an antique frame measuring 38" by 33". The frame has a few small chips to the gesso. If you could get this painting authenticated as painted by Turner the sky is the limit on this one! I'm selling it as I see it and it is a beauty!
