Description: Antique 1940s Sterling Spoon, 5 1/2", Frank M Whiting A graceful Sterling spoon. In very good condition for its vintage age. I've researched the hallmark and I believe this is made by Frank M Whiting & Co., which operated in North Attleboro, Massachusetts from 1878-early 1940s when it was purchased by another manufacturer. I believe this spoon is in Whiting's Adams pattern from 1944. The hallmark: a W in a circle, with a small fleur de lis at each end. It is also marked "STERLING". It is 5 1/2" long. The bowl is 1 1/8" wide. It weighs 19.1 grams.
