Description: Antique 1934 Finished Embroidery Cross Stitch Sampler NOT FRAMED "To a Friends Door the Road is Never Long". Dated in the sampler 1924 and signed with initials. The unframed size is about 13 x 9.5 inches. When I got this is was poorly framed mounted on a piece of cardboard with tape. Removing the tape is what caused the uneven area around the sampler. I think the material is linen. It will need to be blocked and framed. Thanks for looking!
