Description: Antique 1924 Glass PHOTOGRAPH Negative, Cowboy Riding Horse Click images to enlarge Description ANTIQUE GLASS NEGATIVE Wonderful antique glass negative measuring 4-1/4" wide by 3-1/4" tall. Featuring a black and white image of a cowboy in Stetson hat, he appears to be loping around a pasture on horseback - a car can be partially seen behind him. I think the duo performed for visitors to a dude ranch. I have numerous glass negatives of the ranch, visitors, and horses -- the box exterior is dated 1924 and I purchased the collection in Southern California. Condition is lovely - image is crisp - I did not touch either the non-emulsion or the emulsion sides to clean for fear of damaging due to lack of knowledge (will leave to a professional) - negative is crisp, clear and clean. I took photographs of each side by simply holding the negative up to the light - hopefully you can see a clear view of the subject matter.
