Description: Antique 1920's-30's "RUDOLPH WACHTER TEA POT/CREAMER/SUGAR" Very RARE ! LOOK!!!. Rudolph Wachter, a Bavarian/German ceramics designer had a company in the 1920's and 1930's at which he designedand produced some of the most elegant and unusual pieces ever. His mark, RW, is seen with the stamp "Dekor Feinsilber"which means in German "Silver Decoration". Included in the stamp is "Bavaria 9". This is truly a fabulous and unique collectors tea set. I acquired this from a 91 year old woman with not much memory as to it's history. Much of the silver, I'm assuming (or platinum)has been rubbed down after years of loving use. I also think this metal could be refurbished to it's once glory, however it is really beautiful just the way it is. Look carefully at the pictures to see. Also, the cobalt color is rare and I did see one in this color, much like it, selling for upwards of $400.00 which also had some metal missing, but not as much. Both lids are in tact and there are no chips anywhere. It is just a fantastic piece of history and a collector's dream !
