Description: Antique 1919 souvenir of Long Beach California leather blotter wallet. Reads “Blot out all but Fond Memories ~ Dolly B. Gage”. Reverse reads “1919 ~ Long Beach, Cal.”. Features an leather appliqued and hand-painted flower (poinsettia?). Inner part of wallet has two pockets on the end into which blotter paper is tucked. From the days of fountain pens, before ball point pens. Dimension: 9.25” wide x 4-1/8 long x 1/8” thick. Hallmarks: None Condition: Good giftable condition, commiserate with age and use. Mentionable issues: a) some wear to inner cover as seen in photo #x, and b) I’m not sure circle over name is intentional; I believe it is a discoloration stain. Paint and graphics are good.
