Description: This antique doll from 1917 is a rare find for collectors! The Horsman Nippon No. 3 doll features a beautiful brown straight hair and fixed glass brown eyes. It comes with a bisque head and a jointed composition body, as well as a flutter tongue and two teeth. The doll is approximately 18 inches long and weighs 3 pounds. There was a note pinned to her showing info on a similar doll that has what is called a flutter tongue. (I have no idea what that means) anyway, she is tightly strung, and I see no broken, missing or repaired parts. I have hand washed her clothes. Not sure if she is a character doll. In my opinion, she looks similar to Kestner's Hilda doll. I did find some info on the internet which I have included. If you have any questions, contact me.
