Description: My mother said as each daughter was born (there were 4), her father celebrated by buying a picture locket with a diamond and had their initials engraved on it. This locket was my mother's, who was born in 1915, and has her initials HJ engraved. It is about 7/8ths of an inch in diameter and opens and closes well. It is in very good condition because my grandmother kept the locket for "special occasions".
