Description: Antique Arts & Crafts Era / Spanish Revival 1910s-1920s AMPCO (American Metal Products Company) Mayflower Ship Nautical Theme Polychrome Cast Iron Hammered 5-Arm 5-Panel Chandelier Fixture Absolutely fantastic antique cast iron 5-arm chandelier. A little Arts & Crafts Mission, a little Spanish Revival style. Stamped 234, MAYFLOWER and AMPCO on the back of each of the 5 ships on each hammered panel. Not much is known about this company's history in lighting manufacturing, but pieces have been found with the same AMPCO marks. Hopefully someday a catalog will turn up. Approximately 21" tall x 21" wide, not including the (not original) chain or (original) dangle. Some wear but mostly retains it's original finish. Could use a good cleaning - I'm leaving this to the buyer as each person has personal preferences as to patina, etc. Chain is not original, should be replaced. Wiring is original and it should be rewired. Has all of its original wire brads. Experienced international lamp and art glass shipper. Will be extremely well packed and insured. I've calculated US shipping using Pirate Ship rates. Requires a large, oversized box.
