Description: Antique 1906 GB WINTON GRIMWADES Stoke Green "Tassel" OCTAGON REGD NO 564336Large Water Pitcher 12 1/4" tall x approx 7" diameter with 9" handle Here we have a very attractive antique Edwardian period pitcher jug made by the very collectable factory of Grimwades, particularly known for their Royal Winton chintzware. This lovely large sized pitcher is marked on the base with the printed Winton mark and a registered design number 567047 which equates to the year 1909 -1910. The name of the pattern is tassel and there is a transfer printed rope and tassel in a green color around the rim. There are two tassels The handle is very ornate and sturdy. It is in good condition with just a little rubbing to the gold rim, commensurate with age and use. Please note that because of the size and weight of this item, it can only ship to an address via fedex or ups This is a nice item for display and quite a rare pattern for any collector.
