Description: Antique Morimura Brothers Bisque head Baby 12.5” doll, very rare to find Morimura Brothers (1876-1941) was a Japanese import house based in New York City, NY. They supplied bisque head German like dolls to the American market and others, during World War I and after until 1926, some ware assembled in Germany. This charming baby was made by the Japanese firm Morimura Brothers in Germany sometime in 1900’s. She is on a 5 piece bent leg body, and is about 12.5" tall. Her head has no damage chips or cracks. She has glass stationary eyes and very cute face with dimples, open mouth with 2 porcelain teeth. Her body is in good original paint condition with very little wear, marked in red “made in Germany”. She wears adorable antique cotton dress with hand embroidered lace. Do not miss this cute doll with reasonable price!
