Description: Up For Consideration: Antique 18th Century Carved Polychrome Wood Baby Jesus Santos Santo Nino Statue! Condition: Pre-owned from upscale West Texas Estate, this item is a late 18th century, polychrome, hand carved original Santo Nino Statue, Baby Jesus with glass- blue eyes, standing appx: 14" tall, it has lots of natural imperfections and patina, cracks in outer paint, but not with body cracks or damage! It has NO makers mark or artist carving but is probably from Spanish origin. The stand or holder is included, and the statue is held firm with attachments of metal grasping around statue mid-section on block of stained block of wood. Beautifully designed and masterfully crafted by talented artist from our past, Makes for a wonderful Holiday Christmas gift or for your home or office.
