Description: Antique "San Ysidro" the patron saint for the farmer is very early, mid 1700's, framed in an exceptionalornate gold and silver leaf frame with rows of inset mirrors. Painting has considerable wear and craquelure.Frame is very good, some loss to gold and silver leaf, no missing or cracks to mirror, but mirrors are greyand do not provide a reflection. one small piece of side molding is missing at the top. Frame is quite thick with some hand hewn wood. Old nails hold the painting to the frame. Canvas is coarse linen and has some patches.
