Description: Fantastic early English toast rack. Made by Matthew Boulton, one of Englands most highly regarded silver makers. He started producing Old Sheffield Plate (of course then the word “old” wouldn’t have been appropriate) around 1762. This piece would date from the 1760’s-1810’s or so. Condition is excellent. It holds six pieces of toast. It bears Boultons sun mark. It also has a leaf mark not often seen on Boultons production. It’s roughly 4.5” wide and 6” long. Easy to display its a cherry piece of OSP for your collection. Ships ASAP! Thanks
