Description: BREATHTAKING 4ft TALL STAINED GLASS CHURCH WINDOW depicting MARY the mother of JESUS. Window is believed to pre date 1900. Measures approximately: 30" wide by 48" tall Frame is about 1 5/16" thick THERE ARE A COUPLE TIGHT CRACKS, see photo:10 notably towards the tip. These are (I think) glued so they don't become an issue. FRAME IS SOLID AND STRONG see photos: 3,4,5 and 6 Mortise and tenon construction wood pegs (IT WOULD BE A MAJOR PRODUCTION FOR A CARPENTER TO COPY THIS WORK) Photos 7 and 8 show speckles in Mary's face... this has just aged this way. Window was thoroughly washed and scrubbed... and the speckles remain the same. THERE ARE 2 ORIGINAL SUPPORT RODS. CAULKING ON WEATHERED SIDE IS MOSTLY MISSING, buyer may want to recaulk I AM HAPPY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS! Church location is not known. LOCAL PICKUP or MESSAGE ME FOR A FREE QUOTE.
