Description: From a New Hampshire estate comes this 23" early Armand Marseille mold 2015 made in the late 1800s. It is marked with a W overlapped over an anchor. I never would have thought Armand Marseille until I found it in 1 of my identification books so I have added photos. She is a turned shoulderhead with brown set eyes and multi stroke brows. She has her original antique mohair auburn wig and pate. There are no chips or cracks to her head. I did use a flashlight. She is wearing antique long chemise as well as a beautiful lined antique 2pc long velvet gown with matching hat. The dress has some fading and lace has some holes. Her body is cork stuffed kid leather and her left foot has been covered with newer kid repair and right arm has a kid repair as well. This is not your average AM doll. She was made to complete against the elaborate French dolls of the 1880-90s. Please review all photos and ask questions. All sales are final NO RETURNS.
