Description: C1890 AUSTRIAN NAPOLEON «En Bivouac d’Austerlitz» GILT Antique PORCELAIN PLATE MILITARY.This listing is for an Austrian porcelain plate from around the 1890s with a French war scene in the center A porcelain plate with a scene from the Napoleonic Wars. The scene depicts Napoleon Bonaparte composing a proclamation before the Battle of Austerlitz. Stamp, signed "En Bivouac d'Austerlitz". The plate is 12 inches or 30.6 cm in diameter. There is a dark purple border around the well of the plate, which is further enhanced by thick overlaid gold highlights. Gold highlights show antiquities; laurel wreaths, sphinxes and lyres. It is marked on the reverse side with a gold letter "N" and a crown sign and is entitled "En Bivouac d'Austerlitz". He is very attentive to detail. It is in very good condition.
