ANTIQUE 1868 CF HAVILAND LIMOGES Aesthetic Floral & Gold Demi Cup & Saucer

Description: This beautiful two-piece demi cup and saucer set from Limoges, France is a stunning example of aesthetic movement antique pottery art. The set features a decorated floral pattern, with teal and yellow coloring topped with pink and blue flowers, hand-painted with gold edges and a glossy finish. The cup measures 2 3/8 inches in height and 2 1/4 inches in diameter, while the saucer measures 4 3/4 inches in diameter. The backstamp is printed in a circle with CH FIELD HAVILAND LIMOGES on only the cup. The saucer is unmarked. The set is an original and has the Charles Field Haviland Mark # 3, in The Collector’s Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain. This marks dates this beautiful demitasse cup and saucer between 1859-1881, making them an extremely valuable antique Limoges porcelain addition to your collection. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or very minimal paint wear, mostly to the gold accent color.
