Description: For your consideration is an antique Whites Utica stoneware crock from the 1800s, originating from New York. This 10” tall pottery piece is signed and features a unique pulled bullseye cobalt hand applied design. Made by Whites Utica, it showcases a naive, primitive style and is an original creation from the 19th century. I have owned this crock for almost twenty years as part of my personal collection. It is solid and intact despite numerous cracks. Please note a break on one of the side handles. It looks like at one point a wire bale was part of the side pottery handles, and due to stress of a heavy object, one handle got damaged. That is my guess. Please note that this crock is between 125-225 years old! I am guessing that it is an older Utica Pottery piece. There are a couple of large spots that could be either from kiln firing or storage/oil spills. It is sold as is and please note I do not accept returns. The piece is heavy, weighing 5 pounds 10 oz. It will be a large box, and double boxed so consider this concerning cost of shipping. I only charge for the rate of shipping. I do not charge for materials, boxes or handling. Please view all photos as they are an important part of the description. Forward any questions you may have. Payment is requested within 2 days of purchase. Unpaid items will be automatically relisted after 4 days. Thanks for viewing!
