Description: This offering is for an Antique Victorian Bride's Basket Bowl w/Deep Purple fading to Lavender with a beautiful Hand Painted, Gold Enameled Floral & Swirling Leaf Design. This is an exceptional example of the Antique Victorian Brides Baskets produced by Glass Artisans in the 1800’s. This Bridal Bowl is marked by its previous owner (a serious antique collector) “Stour, England”. My research found an Art Glass Company called Stevens & Williams Glass Company of Stourbridge, England. This Victorian Brides Bowl features a fluid ruffled edge in a deep purple to lavender in the center. It is artfully appointed with hand painted gold enameled floral and swirling leaf design. The bowl is in excellent condition (see photos) and measures 13" wide by 3 3/4" high, with a 4" diameter base. Wonderful gift for the antique art glass collector or simply adorn your home with an elegant piece of art from the past.
